An Education Initiative of Pinnacle Wealth

A New Kind of Financial Education

Build a life that
stands true —
at every stage.

For 40 years, Kevin Engbers has walked clients through the questions that money can’t answer alone: What is your life for? How much is enough? What do you want to leave behind? True Wealth Academy is the home for that work — open now to anyone ready to hang the plumb line.

"True Wealth is everything you have that money can't buy, and death is unable to take away."

"Most people spend their whole lives building a wall, never asking whether the wall is plumb. True Wealth begins with the plumb line."

The Plumb Line Process

Who is this for?

Whether you’re starting your career, raising a family, building a business, or planning your legacy — the Plumb Line Process meets you where you are. Choose the path that fits the season you’re in.

For Individuals

Building your blueprint

For the person ready to ask deeper questions about purpose, calling, and what their life is actually for. Walk the Five-D Process at your own pace, in a cohort, or with an advisor.

For Families

Wealth that actually moves forward
Multi-generational membership built so the principles, language, and documents move forward together — at every life stage, for every member of your family.

For Pinnacle Clients

Your plan, grounded in your life

If you’re already a Pinnacle Wealth client, the Academy is included — the digital home for the Blueprinting Process and Plumb Line Check-Ins your advisor has been doing all along.

For Employers

A benefit your team actually uses

Workplace financial wellness that’s about your team’s lives — not just their 401(k). 87% completion in pilot cohorts, 3.4× engagement lift, the most differentiated benefit you can offer.

For Faith Communities

Stewardship that goes deep

An eight-week small-group curriculum on calling, sufficiency, generosity, and legacy — for churches and ministries that want a stewardship program their congregation will actually finish.

Not Sure Yet

Begin with the assessment

Twenty minutes, nine dimensions, no math. Hang the plumb line against the life you’ve actually built — and see, with more clarity than you’ve had in years, where the structure is true.

The Foundation

The Four Cornerstones of True Wealth

True Wealth lives out in a life that is financially confident, physically fit, spiritually nourished, and emotionally engaged. These four cornerstones are the foundation — the corners of the structure True Wealth is built on. They describe what a True Wealth life looks like.

Financially Confident

You know where you stand and where you're going. Sufficiency is named, generosity is built in, and money is held with intention rather than anxiety.

Physically Fit

You know where you stand and where you're going. Sufficiency is named, generosity is built in, and money is held with intention rather than anxiety.

Spiritually Nourished

You know where you stand and where you're going. Sufficiency is named, generosity is built in, and money is held with intention rather than anxiety.

Emotionally Engaged

You know where you stand and where you're going. Sufficiency is named, generosity is built in, and money is held with intention rather than anxiety.

Cornerstones

The foundation

The four corners describe what a True Wealth life looks like — the destination, the structure, the finished building.

The True Wealth Stages

Every season has its questions.

True Wealth meets you where you are. Seven stages, one continuous journey — from the first paycheck to the legacy you’ll leave behind. Each stage has its own work, its own questions, its own plumb line.

Stage 01 · Ages 0–10

The Repeaters

The patterns of a lifetime begin here — not in lessons, but in what children watch the household repeat. The Repeaters stage is for parents and grandparents shaping the earliest financial instincts of the next generation.

Stage 02 · Ages 11–20

The Challengers

Identity is forming. First jobs, first paychecks, first real choices. The Challengers stage helps the rising generation see money as a tool for the life they want — not the destination.

Stage 03 · Ages 21–30

The Launchers
Building the financial foundation for life. First career steps, first big decisions about debt, savings, and what the next decade is actually for. The Launchers stage hangs the plumb line for the first time.

Stage 04 · Ages 31–45

The Jugglers

Career, marriage, mortgage, kids, aging parents — everything in motion at once. The Jugglers stage is about living the story you want to tell, not just the one you fell into.

Stage 05 · Ages 46–59

The Builders
Peak earning years. Empty nests on the horizon. The sufficiency question with real numbers attached. The Builders stage is about finishing the wall true — and asking, honestly, what is enough?

Stage 06 · Ages 60–75

The Leapers
The retirement transition. Protecting what’s been built, beginning the work of letting go on purpose, and figuring out what the next chapter is actually for.

Stage 07 · Ages 76+

The Legacy Leaders

The legacy years. Finishing well. The ethical will, the generosity plan, the final blessing — the things money can’t carry on its own. The Legacy Leaders stage is the completion of the blueprint.

The Method

The Pinnacle Proven Process

True Wealth Academy mirrors the same five-step process Pinnacle Wealth has refined over four decades of advising families. Walk it once and return to it at every life transition.

A glimpse of how Pinnacle Wealth approaches advising. See the full Proven Process at PinnacleWealth.com →

Step One

Introduction

Get to know each other. Understand what you want most and where you’re starting from.

Step Two

Discover

Listen deeply. Uncover values, priorities, and the questions money alone can’t answer.

Step Three

Define

Write what you’re building toward — the mission, the vision, the plumb line itself.

Step Four

Design
Build the plan. Investments, tax, estate, generosity — each one aligned to the blueprint.

Step Five

Deliver
Live it out and check in. Re-hang the plumb line on schedule — the work is the relationship.
